Get Off’d is Kyle’s first year film at the University of Southern California . It is a story about how a young suicidal man calls a hit on himself only to realize how much he wants to live when his life is in danger. It is a thriller that centers the finality of the decision of suicide and is based on the experiences of those who have lived to regret what would otherwise be their last decision.

Kyle wrote and directed the Roots Naturelle commercial, which was released in February 2023. The story follows two characters who learn how to take care of their hair in their own ways. The advertisement celebrates the beauty and culture of Black hair care and highlights a Black-owned brand dedicated to producing quality products.  

Ella and Malcolm was written and directed by Kyle as a directing class assignment at USC. The objective of the class was to create tension through blocking decisions. The story takes us back to 1947 to a 16 year old Malcolm X, then Malcolm Little, and his sister Ella’s debate over his questionable decision to work at the scandalous Roseland State Ballroom in Boston, MA.

Melancholy is Kyle’s music video direction debut. In it, the artist of the song, Erik Mike, is haunted and reconciles by the memories of an old relationship turned sour.
